Rockstar Games Deserved To Be Held Accountable 




Well it has reached that time, I have been putting off this blog for about 2-3 months but with the recent controversy i feel it has to be said. Rockstar has been behind some of the best games both game play and visually. Games like the Grand Theft Auto series, Bully, & The Red Dead Redemption Series. Rockstar has been relevant every year since the release of Grand Theft Auto 3 and even most relevant this year with Red Dead Redemption 2 coming out. 

The issue with Rockstar games is simple on my end as i see how big they have become since the release of Grand Theft Auto 5 and still they have not matured into a professional company. All gamers alike have protested games for the past 3-5 years about Micro-transactions but Rockstar has succeeded from that plan. GTA 5 Online which has kept the game alive for all these years has been ran full of Micro transactions but like i always predicted no one holds them responsible.  We sat there and protested Star Wars Battlefront 2 and many of us have talked down about Call Of Duty & Middle Earth Shadow Of War for abusing the system. 

Why does Rockstar get a free pass for this? Well the idea is simple and its quite sickening. Rockstar gets a free pass for this act simply because they have made great games and gamers around the world refuse to bring up concerns in fear those games wont be developed anymore. Now i wish this was all because if it was then i would understand being called dramatic but this is not it.

A few days ago it came out that Rockstar employees were being forced to stay at work over 100 hours at work just to finish The Red Dead Redemption 2 online mode. I know what many supporters say " more hours = more money" You are right but just 2 weeks ago the internet shit on Telltale games for that same exact practice.  If you are going to trash one company you must do it to the other company no matter that value of great games they release. 

Red Dead Redemption 2 comes out on October 26th and i expect Microtransacntions and workers being overworked unwillingly but im sure it will be a banger of a game just like the first one.

My Experience With MLB The Show 19

As a sports enthusiast, I always get excited when the release of a new sport comes out. MLB The Show is the first sports video game release of the year, I spent 3 days with the game and have tried every mode that the game offers. This is not a review of the game just an everyday normal guy having an experience. After the game finished downloaded ( which takes forever these days), I went through the typical tutorials which have not changed from last year. Finished that and got my settings and controller figured out so I jump into an exhibition, as a Cubs fan I choose them and face off against the defending champs the Boston Red Sox. The gameplay has changed a small bit to a point where you feel the changes but until hour 6 I couldn’t tell you what those improvements were. The fielding felt smoother, The batting stances were way more accurate than they have been in recent years.
