As a sports enthusiast, I always get excited when the release of a new sport comes out. MLB The Show is the first sports video game release of the year, I spent 3 days with the game and have tried every mode that the game offers. This is not a review of the game just an everyday normal guy having an experience. After the game finished downloaded ( which takes forever these days), I went through the typical tutorials which have not changed from last year. Finished that and got my settings and controller figured out so I jump into an exhibition, as a Cubs fan I choose them and face off against the defending champs the Boston Red Sox. The gameplay has changed a small bit to a point where you feel the changes but until hour 6 I couldn’t tell you what those improvements were. The fielding felt smoother, The batting stances were way more accurate than they have been in recent years. Is WWE 2K19 A Good Wrestling Game? Another year has went by which means another WWE video game has released. This year we saw 2K release WWE 2k19 on October 5th which means it has been out for a whole month. I have spent some time with every feature and mode and i have quite a bit to say about it.  Did 2K improve this game from WWE 2K18? Rockstar Games Deserved To Be Held Accountable  Well it has reached that time, I have been putting off this blog for about 2-3 months but with the recent controversy i feel it has to be said. Rockstar has been behind some of the best games both game play and visually. Games like the Grand Theft Auto series, Bully, & The Red Dead Redemption Series. Sony Announces PSN Name Change Beta After years and years of players wanting this feature it seems like Sony is finally starting the process for it. The past few months speculations of this happening have been strong but today Sony came out and said a Beta would start for selected users in late November and if all goes well the feature should roll out in 2019.  The first time changing your name will be free but anytime  after that it will cost you $9.99 USD/CAD, or $4.99 USD/CAD for PlayStation Plus members. It seems the past month Sony has been doing alot of fan fare. We have seen some great game deals, The update to PS Now, and now tis feature fans have wanted for years.  You may ask why must there be a beta for a simple name change? well games before April 1st, 2018 may not support or recognize the change and cause errors. If you would get errors Sony has said it is fixable and you can always revert back to your first PSN ID anytime for free....

Sony Releasing A Playstation Classic Well, it finally happened Sony did what Nintendo has been doing and have made a classic full of Nostalgia. Just like the NES & SNES classic The PlayStation classic will be preloaded with 20 games. Not all 20 games have been confirmed but Sony has released a few games that will make it on the console which include Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, and Wild Arms.  The PlayStation Classic will come with 20 games, 2 classic-styled PlayStation controllers, an HDMI cable, and a power cable all for a price of $99. If you want this I would preorder this quickly as I fully expect this will sell out very fast. Is Marvel Spiderman The Best Super Hero Game? When we talk about superhero video games there have been some very bad ones (Any superman game, Spiderman 3, or Thor) But, over time we have seen some great (nearly perfect) superhero based video games. Games like The Batman Arkham Series, The X-Men games, The Infamous series, and Spiderman 2.  I'm here to argue that Marvel Spiderman is not only the best Spider-Man game but the best superhero game to ever release. Marvel Spiderman took a comic book character who has not had a good game in 2 console generations and made him relevant. Who Won The Console War This Generation? Xbox One Or PlayStation 4 In the world of gaming we have this problem, in reality, it has turned down into an issue with every game release. A 2 Year Look Back At Mafia 3 Mafia 3 came out 2 years ago on October 7th and with it being Free for PS plus I think now is the best time to talk about it. 2 years ago I played Mafia 3 on launch day on Xbox One and the past 6 days I have played it with all the updates on PlayStation 4.
