Ashley Massaro EX WWE Diva Dead At 39 In sad news former WWE on air talent ( Known back then as Divas) and former contestant on the show "Survivor" Ashley Massaro died in a hospital in New York where she would later die. Ashley was just 39 years old and it is said that her death is not foul play at this time. Ashley is most famous for winning the raw diva search in 2005 but most people remember her from her time on Smackdown as she managed former WWE Tag Team Champions Paul London & Brian Kendrick. Her in-ring career highlight is a loss to a Melina at Wrestlemania 23. She appeared on Survivor in 2007 in the China addition and was eliminated very early in the show. She stepped outside of the fame when she cut ties with WWE in 2008 and since then you haven't heard too much about her except a one-off appearance in a small indy company in 2017. I wish her family the best and the world lost another person way too soon, hopefully, it remains that foul play was no...

Microsoft and Sony form cloud gaming and AI partnership Today we see an unusual pairing as the 2 leading companies in video games have come together with a partnership that no one really saw coming. They revealed that both Sony and Microsoft will work together in a brand new partnership to enhance the customer experience in their direct to consumer platforms. Basically, all of this means is that both companies per agreement will explore joint development of future cloud solutions to support their respective content/streaming services.  Now what does this mean now? All this partnship means is both will be working together to help both companies grow. It isnt the partnership we technically wanted but if this goes well it will be the right direction to finally get the cross platforming for Xbox and PlayStation. This will really help cloud-based gaming for the future, Xbox already has a big hand in cloud gaming but this also helps Sony get into it with a part...

As a sports enthusiast, I always get excited when the release of a new sport comes out. MLB The Show is the first sports video game release of the year, I spent 3 days with the game and have tried every mode that the game offers. This is not a review of the game just an everyday normal guy having an experience. After the game finished downloaded ( which takes forever these days), I went through the typical tutorials which have not changed from last year. Finished that and got my settings and controller figured out so I jump into an exhibition, as a Cubs fan I choose them and face off against the defending champs the Boston Red Sox. The gameplay has changed a small bit to a point where you feel the changes but until hour 6 I couldn’t tell you what those improvements were. The fielding felt smoother, The batting stances were way more accurate than they have been in recent years. The pitching had not changed at all which I love because I felt the pitching was as good as it could ...

you read the title correct. The Batman Arkham games have been around for quite some time. It all started with Batman Arkham Asylum which changed the landscape of superhero video games. It introduced Joker as the main villain and exceeded imaginings of the character, and had some of the best boss battles we saw to that point. After, the release we wanted more, as Arkham Asylum itched a spot for so many of the video game fans and comic book readers. The second game only expanded on that and delivered so much more than anyone could have expected. The release of Batman Arkham City, which is my personal favorite, really set a high standard for the series that it never could reach again. The next that was released was Batman Arkham Origins, which is a prequel and had a good concept but just not many played it or cared about it. The next, and last, Batman title to release was perhaps the biggest title in the series and that is Batman Arkham Knight. Arkham Knight had mixed reviews an...

For the better part of the last 5-6 years, Dean Ambrose has been looked at as one of the main eventers in the WWE. He was a member of The Shield, a former WWE Champion, and has some high-quality matches and a few great feuds under his belt. However, Dean Ambrose never fit the WWE mold of what they wanted, he was always a little bit different than the normal main event talent. Since The Shield broke up the first time, he was more just like the third guy who could never do as much as Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. Seth Rollins was booked as a top heel and had a nice long run with the title. Roman Reigns was the chosen one by WWE and who was gifted all of the great accolades and multiple title runs. Ambrose was in lackluster feuds with The Miz, Bray Wyatt, and had a very forgettable WWE Title run. Did WWE book him right? Well, that is an odd question to answer on the surface. To a point yes, as he was in a lot of markee matches with the likes of Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, Roman Re...

Is WWE 2K19 A Good Wrestling Game? Another year has went by which means another WWE video game has released. This year we saw 2K release WWE 2k19 on October 5th which means it has been out for a whole month. I have spent some time with every feature and mode and i have quite a bit to say about it.  Did 2K improve this game from WWE 2K18? In some aspects they did but before we get into the really good things we have to address the bad things that comes with every release of a WWE game.  The Cons I have been playing wresting video games all of my life and ive played some bad ones (Wrestlemania 2000, TNA Impact, Both RAW games, etc) Ever since 2k purchased the rights to make the WWE games it appears we always have the same issues. Every year the game lacks content, you might get a good 2 month which is honestly me stretching it for what its worth and after those 2 months you have done everything and it becomes a boring game. I played WWE 2K19 this past week...

Flashback Review : TNA Impact 2005 (First Episode On Spike TV) TNA started back in 2002 by doing weekly PPVS and was never supposed to get past that. 3 years later after a great product with a growing fan base we saw Spike TV give then a chance of the lifetime. This right here is the full review of the first ever episode to air on Spike TV.  The show kicks off with a great intro that shows new fans What they should expect by watching TNA and they run down and hype up some of their top stars. We come to the show with Mike Tenay really putting over that TNA is the real alternative to WWE.  1. Singles Match AJ Styles Vs Roderick Strong AJ Styles Wins Via Styles Clash Grade : C+ Opinion: The best way to kick off this era is to use the X-Division, Young fans wont know but the X- Division is what put TNA on the map. This match was simply used  to showcase AJ Styles and did it in the right way.  We go backstage and we see Raven...

The Nintendo Switch Expanded The Fortnite Lifespan Fortnite has been the biggest thing in gaming for over a year now and with it being on everything (Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, & Mobile) the fan base seems to continue to grow. The last few weeks since the release of Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 which for the first year added a battle royale mode we have seen Fortnite drop in numbers on the Xbox One & Playstation 4.  The Switch is keeping the strong fan base alive, whether its because the Switch doesnt have game like Spider-man, God Of War Or Red Dead Redemption 2 or just fans love playing Fortnite on the go. The Nintendo Switch has sold over 20 million units across Japan and America since its release which is a big step forward for Nintendo. Since Fortnite came to the Switch earlier this year and those that have downloaded and played Fortnite.  It has built quite a community on the Switchand honestly found a very good niche with the Ninten...

Is The Playstation Classic Worth It? From the moment the Playstation Classic was revealed we have seen many mixed opinions. Ranging from " How can they just choose 20 games?" to " Just buy a PS1 and spend less money". Both are fair points to this system and the real question is  if the Playstation Classic is worth the price or should ou just buy a PS1.  The Playstation came out in 1994 and really changed the world of video games and will always have that great nostalgic factor with its long list of great releases. The Playstation Classic will try to mimic that success but is it even possible? If you buy the Playstation Classic you will get the following Plug In & Play PS1 Emulator  (45 percent smaller than the PS1) 2 Controllers  • Battle Arena Toshinden • Cool Boarders 2 • Destruction Derby • Final Fantasy VII • Grand Theft Auto • Intelligent Qube • Jumping Flash • Metal Gear Solid • Mr Driller • O...

Rockstar Games Deserved To Be Held Accountable  Well it has reached that time, I have been putting off this blog for about 2-3 months but with the recent controversy i feel it has to be said. Rockstar has been behind some of the best games both game play and visually. Games like the Grand Theft Auto series, Bully, & The Red Dead Redemption Series. Rockstar has been relevant every year since the release of Grand Theft Auto 3 and even most relevant this year with Red Dead Redemption 2 coming out.  The issue with Rockstar games is simple on my end as i see how big they have become since the release of Grand Theft Auto 5 and still they have not matured into a professional company. All gamers alike have protested games for the past 3-5 years about Micro-transactions but Rockstar has succeeded from that plan. GTA 5 Online which has kept the game alive for all these years has been ran full of Micro transactions but like i always predicted no one holds them responsi...

Sony Announces PSN Name Change Beta After years and years of players wanting this feature it seems like Sony is finally starting the process for it. The past few months speculations of this happening have been strong but today Sony came out and said a Beta would start for selected users in late November and if all goes well the feature should roll out in 2019.  The first time changing your name will be free but anytime  after that it will cost you $9.99 USD/CAD, or $4.99 USD/CAD for PlayStation Plus members. It seems the past month Sony has been doing alot of fan fare. We have seen some great game deals, The update to PS Now, and now tis feature fans have wanted for years.  You may ask why must there be a beta for a simple name change? well games before April 1st, 2018 may not support or recognize the change and cause errors. If you would get errors Sony has said it is fixable and you can always revert back to your first PSN ID anytime for free....

Sony Releasing A Playstation Classic Well, it finally happened Sony did what Nintendo has been doing and have made a classic full of Nostalgia. Just like the NES & SNES classic The PlayStation classic will be preloaded with 20 games. Not all 20 games have been confirmed but Sony has released a few games that will make it on the console which include Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, and Wild Arms.  The PlayStation Classic will come with 20 games, 2 classic-styled PlayStation controllers, an HDMI cable, and a power cable all for a price of $99. If you want this I would preorder this quickly as I fully expect this will sell out very fast. The PlayStation Classic is set to release in November and I am fully excited for it.  A few games I would like them to add are Metal Gear Solid ( The game that helped sell Playstations) Final Fantasy Tactics, Crash Team Racing, Resident Evil 3, and so many more I can name. The price migh...

Is Marvel Spiderman The Best Super Hero Game? When we talk about superhero video games there have been some very bad ones (Any superman game, Spiderman 3, or Thor) But, over time we have seen some great (nearly perfect) superhero based video games. Games like The Batman Arkham Series, The X-Men games, The Infamous series, and Spiderman 2.  I'm here to argue that Marvel Spiderman is not only the best Spider-Man game but the best superhero game to ever release. Marvel Spiderman took a comic book character who has not had a good game in 2 console generations and made him relevant. The last good Spider-Man game was Spider-Man 2 which was released all the way back in 2004. That is 14 years of average and below average games for the web crawler. Why do I think it is the best Superhero game of all time? What makes it different than Batman Arkham or even better than Spider-Man 2? Marvel Spider-Man does a perfect job pleasing the comic book, movie and video game...
